I want to take this time to thank you for visiting my website!

Let me tell you a little about myself.....

I'm a Jesus lover, a wife, a mother of two wonderful young men, a dog mom, a travel nut, and a lover of all things beautiful and real. I also may have a slight obsession with taking an obscene amount of photos of my doggies.

When I’m not on a shoot or traveling, I can be found working in my home office in the small town of Logan, Ohio, nestled in the Hocking Hills.

I recently earned my certification in The Complete Course in Professional Photography with the New York Institute of Photography.

However, I feel I have learned the most through personal connections, traveling the world, and striving to become the best person I can be.

Please feel free to look around and when you are ready, let me know how I can help you freeze those wonderful moments in time, so you can remember them in the years to come....

Cheers!!

Wendy

My Story

I am the daughter of a photographer. I’ve had a camera in my hand since I can remember. My first published photo at the age of 8 was of Cedar Falls in the Hocking Hills, outside of Logan, Ohio. I took the picture and my father had it developed for me. He spent countless hours shooting whatever captured his fancy at the time. I have slides and slides of stories he told with his camera. (For the younger generation, slides are an old school type of photo. Google it;)) He loved the variety of his shoots, which is probably why I cannot settle on one specific type of photography. He taught me to look at things differently and find beauty in it. He definitely had that eye to see something interesting in what others see as ordinary. Even though he is no longer with us, I still feel his presence when I’m looking through a lens and I know he’s guiding me on this journey.

The Tilly Project Affiliate Photographer

In December of 2022, I was added to a network of photographers listed with the Tilly Project.

The Tilly Project is a non-profit organization that aims to connect pet owners with end-of-life pet photographers across the world, and provides accessible, educational, and supportive resources for photography, anticipatory grief, and pet loss/bereavement.

My sessions will be donation based, and proceeds will be distributed among various animal welfare groups I frequently donate to. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you or someone you know is caring for a senior or terminal pet. My main goal is to make sure you have lasting memories of you and your loved one.

Testimonials

Wendy was a big piece of both my son’s lives growing up so having her do senior portraits for us before shipping off to Army Bootcamp was very special! The day was fun and a little teary for both of us!

"We began using Wendy for the photography of our wedding. The moments she caught were nothing short of magical. We have continued with Wendy as our family has grown, aged, and even more as special moments have come. She without fail, always captures every precious moment (even the funny candid ones) in perfect execution. We are so thankful to have found someone so down to earth, fun, and with apex skills to grab that moment you want to always have in a photo. Cannot say enough how much we appreciate and admire Wendy and her abilities as a photographer and person. Thank you Wendy for making the best moments of life…last forever through your perfection that is photography." ~ Dan Eshelman

"Wendy was gracious enough to photograph our son, Chase for his class of 2022 senior pictures. She let me book a year in advance so we could get the peak Hocking Hills fall colors and we drove from Dayton for the session. I was able to look through her business Facebook page at other senior portraits she’s taken to get ideas for backgrounds that would show the both the beauty of the area and spots where Chase would feel comfortable. Wendy suggested some wonderful places and she was really able to capture Chase’s personality. She let him use his truck as a backdrop and he was THRILLED. We also took a few black and white indoor pictures and when I first saw those, I actually got teary eyed. She nailed it and she told his story with her beautiful work. We can’t thank Wendy enough for giving Chase such a gorgeous portfolio of pictures." ~ Jami Wyatt and Chase Stansberry, Class of ’22.
